I'm just a regular run-of-the-mill member, you see, and that's kind of the credentials that we're looking for, right Is because we're not anything crazy special, right.
Sam:Like, we're not scholars.
Tyler:Yeah, we're not Egyptologists. We're not. I mean, I like to think I'm a scriptorian, but I'm as much of a scriptorian as probably.
Sam:A YSA can be. Yeah, the interesting thing about what we'll be doing is that we've got me from just living in the church my whole life and then someone with a more outside perspective, who's lived outside of the church for a time and then came back, and so we're going to have the duality of those two clashing and hopefully melding and kind of seeing things eye to eye and figuring out what we can learn from two different lights and perspectives. It's basically just going to be a really, really deep Sunday school.
Tyler:A really deep Sunday school. I like that. Hello and welcome everyone to the From Grace to Grace podcast. My name is Tyler Gordon, I'm here with Sam Bins and we are just getting started with this season one trailer. We're super excited about this podcast to be bringing it to you. More information about each of us will obviously be shared in episode one, which we will be posting, hopefully, a week from when this goes live. So we will be introducing ourselves there. But we just wanted to give a quick overview of the season one focus and kind of what we're doing. We've split the first season into two parts kind of more doctrinally based episodes and some more like principle based episodes, and so Sam's going to introduce us to those doctrinally based episodes and I'll talk about the principle based episodes. Sam, do you want to introduce us to those doctrinal episodes?
Sam:Yeah, so for the first season we'll be covering most of the plan of salvation, and so we'll be going from about premortal life all the way to the kingdoms of glory, the vision, the DNC 76. So in between we'll have it'll be every other episode that we do a doctrinal and then a principle episode.
Tyler:Cool. Yeah, I'm super excited about those doctrinal episodes. So we're also going to be talking about like principles, such as like going and navigating a faith crisis during this season, or answering difficult questions or having difficult conversations with people who might be experiencing a faith crisis. That's kind of our focus and that's where we're wanting to go with this season. We're super excited about this podcast. It gives us an opportunity to be able to share our thoughts and feelings about different subjects and things that we've experienced.
