Samuel (Sam) Binns was brought up within the church. Born and raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Sam was encouraged from an early age to independently seek understanding of his faith tradition. His two-year service as a proselytizing missionary in The Canada Toronto Mission stirred an interest in learning how to convey his faith to individuals from various faith backgrounds. By understanding what others believe, he aims to articulate Latter-day Saint terminology and doctrine using vocabulary familiar to them from their own traditions. Through this podcast, his goal is to circumscribe Latter-day Saint doctrine, highlighting both what is known and unknown about it.

Tyler Gordon's journey with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is a testament to the power of faith, transformation, and rediscovery. Born into the church, Tyler embarked on a path of spiritual service early in life, dedicating five months to the Maryland Baltimore Mission. However, at the age of 19, he made the difficult decision to step away, removing his records from the church. In November of 2022, a serendipitous encounter with missionaries reignited Tyler's faith, leading to his decision to be rebaptized.
